Greyson and Erin were married in an intimate ceremony at The Highlands Dallas, a Hilton Hotels property. The rooms are lovely for bridal prep, providing perfect lighting and simple backdrops for the style images I love to create. After the bridal prep, Erin and Greyson had a very sweet “First Look” in the hotel lobby. She was stunning in her dress and he was very excited about the reveal. We were able to make all of the couple’s portraits, along with the family photos in about 30 minutes, just before it was time for the ceremony. The only lighting for the ceremony was from the cafe’ lights hung at the hotel residence garden, so the Nikon D5 came in very handy that night. There are many times where even professionals will tell you the camera does not matter, but when you’re photographing a wedding ceremony in the DARK, it matters. It was a cool night, and they chose for an outdoor cocktail reception with working food stations. I used a mix of available light and flash to capture their reception. The total coverage time was only four hours, and Erin and Greyson booked us on our Hourly, Create Your Own collection method. They got exactly the time they needed at the price they expected.
