We like to say that every couple we photograph a wedding for is special. And of course they are, but this particular wedding involved two very special people. You often hear people say “My cousin is a photographer. He’s doing our wedding”. And as professional wedding photographers, most of the time when we hear about people using inexperienced relatives with nice cameras, to do the job of a professional, we cringe. Well, in this case, the stars aligned, Cory (our groom), actually DID have a cousin to photograph the wedding. Cory is like a little brother to Chris, so when it came down to being IN the wedding, or photographing it, the decision was easy. Cory and Jessica were married at Piazza in the Village, a beautiful wedding venue in Colleyville. The staff was amazing, and the photography opportunities are endless. Like every wedding, we only wish we’d had more time with them. You’ll notice some of Cory’s prep photos are made at the Hilton in Southlake, which is a fantastic venue on its own, but we moved to Piazza for most of the day.
