Bridal Sessions

When you want to look your best, in your dream dress, before your perfect day, take time to have your bridal portrait made.  Most brides say this is the best portrait they’ve ever taken, even years after their wedding day.

-All of our wedding coverage packages include your bridal session.  This is the time for you to shine in your dress and create a beautiful portrait in preparation for your wedding day.  Many brides consider this the full dress rehearsal, and a chance to really test drive their dress before the wedding.
-You should schedule your bridal session approximately three to six weeks prior to your wedding.

What to bring with you
-A large white sheet with a small hole cut in the center.  The sheet will act as a barrier between your dress and the ground as we move around.
-Hair and make up touch up items
-A bouquet is not necessary, but you may want a few shots with it
-Your veil, again optional.
-Accessories, jewelry, extra bobby pins, hair spray, make up, lip products, safety pins, and even a sewing kit.

On location or In-Studio?
-The decision for what location boils down to the amount of effort you are willing to put into the session, along with what risks you want to take while wearing your dress (e.g. getting it dirty).  In addition, what products are you considering purchasing using your images?  If you want to go all out and are expecting to purchase “more than one” image in your dress, choose a location that suits your personality, your style and your vision.  We will work with you to produce a variety of posing, lighting and expressions to suit you.  Of course, we can suggest any number of great locations, but having an idea of the style you would like helps us narrow it down for you.  The style of the shoot can range from a simple, classic studio session with simple backdrops and controlled lighting, to an exotic location offering a wide variety of photo opportunities.  We will consult with you to decide on the type of session you may prefer.  Some locations require additional fees for entry, and have increased minimum purchases.
