You should book your engagement session no later than 90 days prior to your wedding. You can schedule it as early as you like , but 90 days out should allow you plenty of time to purchase and take delivery of any product you may consider displaying at your wedding.
What do you do with the photos?
-guest sign-in album (what’s that you say?)
-wall portrait for your home
-gift prints for parents, family and friends
-save the date cards, magnets, etc.
What to wear?
-simple casual dress will stand the test of time in your printed images
-complimentary colors and tones will give your image color harmony
-if you have fair skin, avoid reds and oranges
-jeans are always a smart choice if you want a more casual look
-avoid excessive patterns ,as solids will always produce a more desirable photo
What location will work best for you?
-We have lots of locations to suit most any style of portrait you may want. Consider working in our studio if you want a simple session with classic backgrounds and posing. If you want more variety in poses, backgrounds, or a pedal theme, discuss it with us so we can find a location to match your requests.
What can you do to make your session come out just the way you want?
-get plenty of rest the night before
-drink plenty of water in the few days before your session
-if you wear make up, use a little more than you think is necessary, as if you were going for an evening look.
Your ordering session will take place 5-10 business days following your session. This is the time where we will view, choose and order your portraits. Be prepared to pay in full for the items you purchase on this date. Remember we do require a $250 minimum purchase for your engagement session.
