Jami & Matt were married on November 7 at Avanti Fountain Place in Dallas, TX. They prepped at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel next door, and walked to their ceremony and reception space at Avanti. Since Daylight Savings Time ended, Matt and Jami opted for a First Look, where they saw each other before the ceremony and allowed us to photograph them and their families together before the ceremony. We are big fans of the first look, as we fell it gives a couple the BEST opportunity to express their love for each other in a private moment. We’ve seen more groom’s have unexpected emotional reactions during a first look, and its always great. We have brides say all the time, I want to see him react “this way” when I walk down that aisle. We tell people that if you see each other before the ceremony, you can get that reaction TWICE! Trust us when we tell you he’ll be just as anxious standing up in front of friends and family and feel every bit as emotional.
