Kimberly and Jason were married in June at The Hurst Conference Center in, of course, Hurst, TX. The facility is fantastic, and we found so many different photo opportunities, we actually couldn’t even utilize all of them. The suites for bride and groom’s prep were HUGE. The guys had a 200″ projection screen to watch the Texas Rangers game while they ate lunch and got dressed. The girls were in a beautiful executive suite with a fantastic picture window, making the most perfect dramatic lighting, and we LOVE dramatic lighting. Since Jason and Kim are both good Aggies, you can imagine the party was rockin’ and all of their family and guests had a great time. Their reception and ceremony were actually held in the same ballroom, and thanks to some very creative lighting and pipe and drape work, you would have never known that the room had to be flipped after the ceremony in order to have the reception. I was amazed at how fast the room transformed from a quaint little ceremony space into a grand ballroom. The lighting and decor made both rooms very unique. We were able to work comfortably inside for most everything we needed in the pre-ceremony hours, and then we made use of the beautiful outdoor landscaping around the building for the couple’s portrait time after the ceremony. Kim & Jason had a surprise getaway car, a vintage Ford Mustang secretly replaced the Town Car they thought they were leaving in. The convertible made a perfect last kiss photo.
