Sally and Jamie were married recently in Southlake at The White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in the Founder’s Chapel wedding venue. White’s Chapel is home to dozens of weddings in Southlake each year. This wedding ceremony was held in the Founder’s Chapel.
The Founder’s Chapel
The Founder’s Chapel is the smallest of White’s Chapel’s three wedding ceremony sites. What it lacks in size it makes up for in charm. The space is warm and inviting, with beautiful windows overlooking a small pond. Beautiful sunlight flows in through the windows. There is a small bridal suite for the bride and a small group to prepare in. If you’re looking for a large bridal suite, you won’t find it here. The floors are all original wood throughout the small chapel. After couples are married they traditionally ring the large bell atop the chapel. Couples stop at the door and pull the large rope to ring the bell while they kiss.
White’s Chapel Stained Glass
White’s Chapel United Methodist Church’s main sanctuary is the largest of the three wedding ceremony options on the campus. Inside of the main sanctuary, there is a gigantic stained glass window. Sally and Jamie requested a special photograph in front of the glass window.
Second Chance Weddings
Sally and Jamie both lost their spouses in recent years. For them, this wedding was about a second chance at love. Through their faith and family, and the magic of the internet, they were able to meet. During their beautiful service in The Founder’s Chapel, they described a love that everyone wishes for. Their children from their previous marriages were so thrilled that they were together, and you could honestly feel how excited everyone was for this union. To celebrate their marriage, Sally and Jamie invited all of their guests to Perry’s Steakhouse in Southlake. They shared a beautiful dinner, cake and kind words from their guests before heading off to their honeymoon.
