Our ‘Merican Summer mini sessions are a playful and humorous take on traditional photography, characterized by elements that reflect rural, Southern, or country lifestyles. Here’s a detailed description of what such a session might entail:

Setting and Location

• Great American Camp Out: The set features a rustic outdoor campground location, complete with all of the perfect accessories to tell the story of summer.

Props and Accessories

Make our scene your own by considering personal props. Just keep it safe for us and safe for you!

• Vintage Camper: Our vintage camper sets the scene for fun.

• Accessories: Hunting rifles, fishing poles, or bows and arrows, can be included in a lighthearted or exaggerated manner.

• Alcohol: Beer cans, whiskey bottles, and red Solo cups are frequently used props, often placed in funny or unexpected spots.

• Animals: Pets like dogs, chickens, or goats might make an appearance.

• Tools and Equipment: Items like fishing gear, chainsaws, or farming tools can be used as props.

Clothing and Attire

• Casual and Comfortable: This is where it can get GOOOD! Clients often wear casual, worn-out clothes such as jeans, overalls, flannel shirts, and cowboy boots.

• Humorous Costumes: Some may opt for more exaggerated attire like cut-off shorts, sleeveless shirts (often with funny slogans), camouflage clothing, and hats (trucker caps or cowboy hats).

• Accessories: Sunglasses, bandanas, and even fake teeth or mullet wigs for added humor.
